Does anyone know what the parameter "early RTP" is on the Acme SBC?

Does anyone know what the parameter "early RTP" is on the Acme SBC?
It used to open firewalls for RTP traffic to avoid the first part
of the speach will got lost.
(For details I have to check some documentations)
